These are two joint petitions filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of two cross FIRs i.e. FIR No.694/2015 under Sections
308/509/354B/34 of the IPG and FIR No.689/20I5 under Sections
308/323/354B/I45/146/147 of the IPG registered at police station
Gandhi Nagar. Shrikant Sharma is the complainant in the FIR
No.694/2015 and Rohtash Sharma is the complainant in the FIR
No.689/2015. Both the complainants are present in person. Their presence has been identified by the Investigating Officer as also their respective counsels.
It is stated that the eross-FIRs have been registered due to misunderstanding and misapprehension. With the intervention of well-wishers and respectable members of the society, the parties have settled their disputes and they have left no grievance against each other. Gompromise deed dated 05.11.2015 duly signed by both the parties is a part ofthe record.
Learned APP for the State submits that if at all the present FIR is permittedto be quashed it shouldbe quashed subjectto costs as the investigation hasprogressed and the State has incurred expenses
Accordingly, FIR No.694/2015 under Sections 308/509/354B/34 of the IPG and FIR No.689/2015 under Sections
308/323/354B/145/146/147 of the IPG registered at police station
Gandhi Nagar as also all the proceedings emanating therefrom are
(p quashed subject to payment of Rs.15,000/- in each petition to be deposited by the petitioners with the Delhi High Court Legal Services
Committee.
Petitions disposed of. .
