ORDER
1. This petition by way ofPublic Interest Litigation has been filed with a prayer to quash the orders dated 29.12.2015 passed by the Govt. of NOT of Delhi, placing Sh.Subhash Chander, Special Secretary (Home General) and Sh.Yashpal Garg, Special Secretary (Home Police) under suspension with immediate effect in exercise of the powers conferred vmder Rule 10(1) of CCS(CCA) Rules.
2. It is vehemently contended by the petitioner appearing in person that the impugned orders are without power or authority and illegal since the Govt. of NCT of Delhi is not competent to take disciplinary action against fV.R (C)116/2016 Page I of[2] 2016:DHC:9181-DB r:C<p~~~- Group 'A' officers of DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Island Civil Services).
3. We declinedto enter into the issue sought to be agitated since the law is well-settled that a PIL in a service matter is not maintainable.
4. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
