JUDGMENT
1. Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.641/2014 under Sections 307/365/376/511 IPC at PS Govind Puri. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2. Status report is on record.
2. Perusal of the file reveals that charge-sheet was filed against the petitioner for commission of offences under Section 365/307/376/511 IPC. By an order dated 16.03.2015, the petitioner was discharged for commission of offences under Sections 307/376 IPC read with Section 511 IPC. He was prima facie found to be guilty of commission of offence punishable under Sections 366/354 IPC. 2016:DHC:1048 Crl.M.C.3345/2015
3. The complainant / victim is present in the Court. I have enquired from the complainant if she has settled the dispute with the petitioner amicably without any fear or pressure. She has informed that the dispute between the parties has been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question.
4. The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.641/2014 under Sections 307/365/376/511 IPC converted into 366/354 IPC at PS Govind Puri and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
5. The petitioner is directed to deposit `20,000/- as costs in the Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensure its compliance.
