JUDGMENT
1. The only prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 117(2) of the Border Security Force Act,.
2. Mr. Anshuman Singh, learned Senior Panel Counsel for the respondents undertakes on instructions that the petitioner’s appeal would be disposed of within a period four weeks. The respondents shall remain bound by the said statement.
3. Accordingly, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal preferred under “BSF Act, 1968”, hereinafter W.P.(C) 6556/2025 Section 117(2) of the BSF Act within a period of four weeks and to communicate a decision to the petitioner forthwith.
4. Needless to say, the rights of the petitioner, should the petitioner continue to remain aggrieved by the decision of the respondents, shall stands reserved. The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
