G4S Secure Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. v. Ranjeet Kumar

1. The Respondent is physically present before the Court today as the Constituted Attorney of the Petitioner.

2. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions from Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Taku, Constituted Attorney, submits that the dispute inter se the parties has been amicably settled for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-.

3. The Court has interacted with the Respondent and on a query, the Respondent confirms that he has settled matter with the Petitioner Company. The Respondent also confirms that he is accepting the sum of Rs.5,00,000/as a full and final settlement of all his claims, under the Impugned Award dated 15.03.2021.

4. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submits that a Demand Draft in the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- in the name of the Respondent has been W.P.(C) 16855/2022 brought today.

5. The original demand draft has been handed over to the Respondent in the Court today. A copy of the demand draft has also been signed by the Respondent. 5.[1] The Registry is directed to scan and upload the copy so that it remains embedded in the case file.

6. Accordingly, in view of what is stated above, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the matter may be disposed of accordingly.

7. The present Petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. The pending Application stands closed.
