JUDGMENT

1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is recruited in the CRPF, praying inter alia for directions to the respondents to extend him the benefits of 5th & 6th CPC Recommendations.

2. Mr. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, states at the outset that on receiving a representation dated 9.9.2015 from the petitioner seeking enhancement of the pay scales, the respondents had forwarded a reply dated 10.9.2015 (Annexure P-6) calling upon him to furnish the names of the officers who are junior to him in rank but are being paid salaries at a higher scale, as claimed by him. He submits that instead of responding to the said letter, the petitioner has filed the present petition. 2016:DHC:3533 WP(C) 3900/2016

3. Counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, while reserving the right of the petitioner to respond to the letter dated 10.9.2015, addressed by the respondents.

4. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. If the reply received from the respondents is not to the satisfaction to the petitioner, he shall be entitled to seek his remedies, if so advised, in accordance with law.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, along with the pending application. HIMA KOHLI, J ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J MAY 05, 2016 sk/rkb
