JUDGMENT

(1) The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.301/14 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPG registered at Police Station Amar Colony. Status report is onrecord. (2) I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the complainant in person. By an order dated 05.09.2014, the petitioner- Kesar and by an order dated 08.09.2014 petitioners Surender Verma @Gulab, Naveen Verma and Rajender Verma were granted interim protection and were directed to join the investigation as and when required. Status report reveals that the petitioners have since joined the investigation. (3) The matter was referred to Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre to explore the possibility of amicable settlement. However, the matter could not be resolved. BailAppl.1968/2014 &connectedmatters Page 2of[3] (4) During the Course of arguments, the petitioners volunteered to pay ^40,000/- to the eomplainant towards dowry articles without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any). On this, the complainant has no objection to the grant ofanticipatory bail (5) Considering the facts and circumstances of the ease and petitioners' offer to pay ^40,000/- to the eomplainant, they are admitted to anticipatory bail and in the event oftheir arrest, they be released on bail on their furnishing personal bond in the sum of ?40,000/- each with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer with the condition that they shall jointhe investigation as and when required. (6) The petitioners shall pay ?40,000/- to the eomplainant towards dowry articles within two weeks through Investigating Officer and this payment shall be without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any).
