JUDGMENT

1. Counsel for the respondents No.1 & 2 raises a preliminary objection with regard to the maintainability of the present petition in this Court. She states that service matters pertaining to the National Institute of Urban Affairs are filed before the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). She points out the name of the respondent No.1 features at Sr. No.144 of the notification issued under the Central Administrative Tribunal Rules of Practice, 1993, a copy whereof is handed over and taken on record.

2. Counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the aforesaid position, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, while reserving the right of the petitioner to approach the CAT for appropriate relief.
