JUDGMENT

1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for issuance of directions to the respondent No.1/BEL, Bangalore to set aside the final results dated 5.9.2015 for the post of a Probationary Engineer and prepare a fresh merit list on the basis of the total marks scored by him.

2. To start with, it has been enquired from learned counsel for the petitioner as to why has the present petition been filed in this court when the only contesting respondent is respondent No.1/BEL, which has its office at Bangalore.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, while reserving the right of the petitioner to seek his remedies against the respondent No.1/BEL before the competent court vested with the territorial jurisdiction in that regard. 2016:DHC:4564 WP(C) 5127/2016
