JUDGMENT
1. The present writ petition has been filed as a Public Interest Litigation by the University College of Medical Sciences Karamchari Union through its president Mr. Subhash Chander seeking to make University College of Medical Sciences Block-Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital Complex into an autonomous body with deemed university status or to bring under unified control like All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
2. We have heard the learned counsel for both the parties.
3. Having gone through the averments in the petition and having taken note of the nature of controversy involved, we consider it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to look 2016:DHC:4921-DB W.P.(C) 5920/2016 into the grievances of the petitioner by treating this writ petition as a representation and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within six weeks from today. Such order shall be communicated to the petitioner and in case the issue sought to be espoused is not fully resolved, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh writ petition.
4. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
