186/353/382/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Hari Nagar on the complaint of repsoildnet No. 2 who was working as Chief
Medical Officer at DDU Hospital on 20.3.2016.
2016:DHC:9117 It was alleged in the FIRs that the petitioners pic ed-iIp a quarrel and gave beatings to the respondent Nos. 3 to 6, who were on duty. As a consequence of these beatings, respondent Nos. 3 to 6 suffered simple injuries. During the investigation, the injuries have been found to be simple.
FIR No. 316/2016 dated 20.05.2016, under Sections
296A/323/34 IPC, has been registered at Police Station Hari Nagar on the complaint of petitioner No. 1 in WP (Cr1.) NO. 204 1/2016. In fact, both the FIRs are cross-FIRs arising out of the same incident.
It is alleged in this FIR that respondent Nos. 4 to 6 gave beatings to petitioners in WP(Crl) No. 2041/20 16, resulting in injuries to them. Injuries are simple.
Parties have now' settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of well-wishers. Complainants/injured parties in both the FIRs do not wish to pursue the FIRs against each other. Keeping in mind that the quarrel took place on a trivial matter wherein the parties scuffled with each other resulting in injuries to both the parties as also the nature of injuries being simple, in the interest of justice, both the FIRs are quashed.
The writ petitions are disposed of.
