JUDGMENT

1. The present Public Interest Litigation has been filed by the petitioner alleging inaction on the part of the respondents in taking action for removal of the encroachments over the Gram Sabha/Forests land of Asola, Bhatti, Shahoorpur and Satbari. Petitioner also seeks reclaiming such lands and to take time bound action against the encroachments.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the nature of the allegations made in the writ petition, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to look into the contents of the writ petition treating the same as a representation and after verifying the correctness of the allegations made, take appropriate action in accordance with law. Action taken shall be informed to the petitioner within 2016:DHC:5008-DB

W. P. (C) 6094/2016 eight weeks from today. In case the issues raised in the present petition are not fully resolved, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh writ petition.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
