JUDGMENT

1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. The application stands disposed of.

3. Given the nature of the averments in this writ petition, we had required the Counsel for the petitioner to be present before us today. He has appeared, albeit, virtually.

4. Before us, Mr. Akhilesh Singh who appears, submits that he merely signed this petition, and that it was not drafted by him but by the petitioner who appears in person. He seeks, therefore, to dissociate himself from the contents of the petition.

5. We do not wish to make any comments on this statement, coming from a Counsel who has 19 years experience at the Bar.

6. In any event, the petitioner who appears in person seeks to withdraw this petition.

7. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
