05.08.2016 Present contempt petitions have been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 23"* December, 2015 whereby respondents were directed to take action and set up review Quality
Assurance Selection Board(QASB)in respect of petitioners and to appraise and consider their case for promotion on all those dates they would otherwise have been eligible for consideration for promotion to higher postofGrades within aperiod ofthree months.
2016:DHC:8700 r Today Mr.Ankur Chhibber,learned counsel for the respondents has handed over minutes ofmeeting ofthe QASB held on 4^^ August,
ORDER

2016. The same is taken on record. The relevant portion of the minutes ofthe meeting is reproduced hereinbelow:- "5. In view ofthe High Courtjudgment dt.23.12.2015, QASB (3) 2016 considered the cases ofCol GS Grewal and Col KP Kumar andfound them eligiblefor promotion to the rank of Brigadier and accordingly recommended them as FIT for promotion in QASB (2)2012 and QASB (2) 2014 respectively when they werefirst consideredfor promotion and vacancies were availablefor theirpromotion." Mr.Chhibber also states that notices for reversion to Brig. P.C.C.Aggarwal and Brig.Rajeev Negi shall be issued on or before 9^^ August,2016.
