02.09.2016 The basis of these writ petitions is the denial of the claim of the petitioners for compensation/ retirement benefits and appointmient on compassionate groundin government service. The orderhas beenpassedby the Govt. ofNCT of Delhi.
The learned counsel for the petitioners says that Govt. of NCT of
Delhi maybe directed to treat the captioned petitions as a representation and the same be examined by the Deputy Director (East), Director of Education, Zone-I. Let it be so done. Respondent no.2, the Deputy Director Education
2016:DHC:8944 concerned shall accord a hearing to the petitioners on 07.09.2016 at 3.00 p.ni. and decide the representation within four weeks from today. The petitioners shall produce all relevant documents as may be requisite for the purpose of proving that Ms. Sunita Devi [petitioner in WP(C) 7690/2016] was the legally wedded wife of late Sh. Hari Ram, and that, Mr. Ankit Kumar [petitioner inWP(C) 7700/2016] was his legally adopted son.
Should the petitioners bestill aggrieved by the order passed on behalf of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, their rights to pursue the legal remedies, as may be available to them, would remain unaffected.
The petitions are disposed of in the above terms.
