Petitioners and private respondents are neighbours. A quarrel ensued between them, in which both the parties sustained injuries resulting in registration offollowing cross FlRs:-
(a) FIR No. 236/2016 under Sections 308/34 IPG registered at P.S.
Chhawala on the complaintofrespondentno.3 Ms.Sarikain W.P.(Crl.)NO. 2832/2016.

Ghhawala on the complaint ofrespondent no. 4 Ms. Suman in W.P.(Grl.)
No.2847/2016.
Petitioners and private respondents have settled their disputes amicably vide Gompromise Deed dated 24*''August,2016,inasmuch asthey want to maintain harmonious relation in future. Gomplainants/injured in both the FIRs are not willing to pursue their respective FIRs. They are presentin Gourtand have been identified by SI Satbir Singh,P.S.Ghhawala.
Keeping in mind the fact that a quarrel ensued between the neighbours on some trivial matter, wherein injured persons sustained simple injuries and a compromise has been entered into between them,in my view, ( no iBruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly,in the interest ofjustice both the FIRs,that is, FIR
No. 236/2016 under Sections 308/34 IPG and FIR No. 235/2016 under
Sections 308/323/34 IPG both registered at P.S. Ghhawala, which are at the investigation stage, are quashed.
Both the writpetitions are disposed ofin the aboveterms. Dasti.
