ORDER o/o 17.10.2016 The petitioner seeks admission in B.Sc.(Hon.) Nursing course for the seven campuses of All India Institute ofMedical Sciences. It is contended that the petitioner had duly qualified in accordance with merit for admission. However, she was denied admission because she could not produce the original ofclass XII marksheet, which had been submitted with the Aligarh Muslim University where the petitioner had taken admission in a diploma course.
The petitioner was willing to furnish an undertaking that the original would be furnished shortly and had even issued acertificate from the Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent of Aligarh
Muslim University that the original marksheet of class XII had
WP(C} 9504/2016 Pagel 2016:DHC:8658 already been submitted there.
Learned counsel for the respondent, who appear on advance notice submits that the last date for admission in a medical course is
30^'' September and thereafter even if a seat is vacant, the said seat lapses. Itis contended that the petitioner cannot be granted admission in any seat today. It is further submitted that the petitioner had applied in general category in which now there is no seat available.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the Hon'ble
Supreme Court seeking clarification or extension of time for admission.
Writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
