27.10.2016 By the above noted petitions, petitioners and private respondents have prayed for quashing of the following cross FIRs.
(a) FIR No.436/2015 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Mangol Puri on the complaint of Prakash Shokeen against Praveen Shokeen, Lalit Shokeen and Udaybhan Shokeen.
2016:DHC:9145 (b)FIR No.448/2015 under Sections 323/324/341/34 IPC registered at police station Mangol Puri on the complaint of Praveen Shokeen against Prakash Shokeen and Sunil Kumar @ Sanjay.
Petitioners and respondent no.2 are known to each other and are resident of the same village. A perusal of FIRs shows that a quarrel ensued between them on some trivial matter resulting in simple injuries to Praveen
Shokeen and Prakash Shokeen. Parties have compromised the matter.
Complainants Prakash Shokeen and Praveen Shokeen are present in Court and submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. They further submit that they do not wish to pursue their respective FIRs any further in view of the settlement.
P Keeping in mind the facts, as narrated above, in the interest of justice, both the above noted FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the compromise entered into between the parties.
Petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
