24.11.2016 It appears that though pursuant to settlement divorce by mutual consent was granted but both the parties allege that the other one is not adhering to the terms of settlement. It is thus apparent that there is no full and final settlement between the parties at least at this stage.
Consequently, the two petitions along with stay applications seeking quashing of FIR No.967/2014 under Sections 498A/406 IPG are dismissed at this stage with liberty to file fresh petitions in case the parties amicably settle the matter.
