ORDER

1) FIR No. 822/2015 under Sections 354/323/506 IPG registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar.

2) FIR No.823/2015 under Sections 354/323/342/506/509/ 34IPG registered atpolice station Mukherjee Nagar. FIR No.822/2015 was registered on the complaint ofManju Kashyap (respondent no.2 in W.P.(G)3263/2016 and petitioner no. 2 in W.P.(G) 3271/2016); whereas FiR No.823/2015 was registered on the complaint of Sonali Ghopra(petitioner no.2in W.P.(G)3263/2016 and respondent no.2 in W.P.(G)3271/2016. Accused/complainants in both the FlRs are known to one another being neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which led to registration ofabove noted FlRs. Accused/complainants have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their common friends. Gomplainants/victims in both the FlRs submit that they have compromised the matter oftheir own free will and without any undue pressure or coercion. They further submit that they do notwish to pursuethe above FlRs any further and requestfor quashing of the same. Keeping in mind that victims/complainants in above-noted FlRs have compromised the matter and do not wish to pursue the FlRs any further, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No. 82212015 under Sections 354/323/506 IPC and FIR No. 823/2015 under Sections 354/323/342/506/509/34 IPe both registered at police station Mukherjee Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Both the writ petitions are disposed of in the above terms., Dasti. ~ \ J\ / v&-/ A.kMTHAK,J. NOVEMBER 24, 2016 ) ga
