Petitioners have prayed for quashing ofthe following cross FIRs:-
! • '
(a) FIR No. 342/2011 under Sections 341/323/506/34 IPC registered at
P.S. Ghazipur onthe complaintofNareshKumar in Crl. M.C. No.184/2017.

P.S. Ghazipur on the complaint ofNeetu Sin^ in Crl. M.C. No. 189/2017.
Complainants and accused are related to each other. It is submitted that complainants and accused have settled their disputes amicably with the> intervention of their common friends and other family members.
Complainants Naresh Kumar, and Smt. Neetu Singh are present. They
• submit that they have settled the matter oftheir own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure.' They further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIRs any further..
Keeping in mind the fact that- cross FIRs have been registered
> consequent to the quarrel ensued between the members ofthe same family and that parties have settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pendiiig. Accordingly, in the interest ofjustice both the FIRs, that is, FIR No. 342/2011 under Sections 341/323/506/34 IPC and FIR No. t
343/2011 under Sections 354/323/506/34 IPG, both registered at P.S.
Ghazipur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Both the writ petitions are disposed of in the above terms.
