JUDGMENT

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Nominal roll dated 22.11.2016 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 376/377 IPC and was sentenced to undergo maximum imprisonment for ten years with fine 2,000/- under Section 376 IPC. It further reflects that the petitioner W.P.(CRL) 3566/2016 Page 1 of[2] 2017:DHC:8622 c—) has undergone five years, three months and sixteen days incarceration besides remission for ten months as on 22.11.2016. He is not a previous convict and is not involved in any other criminal case. Till date he has not availed any parole or interim bail. Status report reveals that the address of the petitioner has been verified. In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the application, I deem it a fit case for grant of parole to the petitioner. It is therefore, directed the petitioner be released on parole for a period of three weeks from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of 30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court/CMM/Duty Magistrate. After completion of parole period petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. SGARG,J.
