JUDGMENT
1. It is stated in unison by learned counsels for the parties that during the pendency of the present petition, the elections to the Managing Committee of the respondent No.1 for filling up the existing vacancies, was conducted in January, 2017 and the results have been declared on 23.2.2017 wherein, the petitioner herein has been declared as elected to the office of Regional Chairman (Northern Regions). In view of the aforesaid development, they state that the present petition may be disposed of as the petitioner cannot hold two posts simultaneously.
2. A copy of the result of the elections for the year 2017-18 handed over by learned counsels for the parties, is taken on record.
3. The writ petition is disposed of, along with the pending application.
