03.03.2017 Vide above-noted petitiOns, petitioners have prayed for quashing of the two cross-FIRs, details whereof are as under
2017:DHC:8033 FIR No. 265/16 under Sections 323/354/509 IPC registered at
Police Station Delhi Cantt and FIR No. 266/16 under Sections 323/354/509/34 IPC registered at Police Station Delhi Cantt.
Petitioners and respondent no.2, in both the cases, are related to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which led to registration of above-noted FIRs. With the intervention of their common friends and relatives, petitioners and respondent no.2 in both the cases have settled their disputes amicably. Both the respondent no. 2 are present in
Court and have been identified by SI Sunita Kumari of police station Delhi
Cantt. Both the respondent no.2 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they have no objection in case the present FIRs are quashed.
-A Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes in both the cases and cothplainants have no objection in quashing of the FIRs, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 265/16 under
Sections 323/354/509 IPC and FIR No. 266/16 under Sections
323/354/509/34 IPC both registered at Police Station Delhi Cantt and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms.
