JUDGMENT

1. The only prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation filed by the petitioner to the Director General of Border Security Force on 26 August 2024.

2. We do not see why the representation is remaining pending for almost a year as on date without any decision.

3. Rule, returnable forthwith.

4. In the circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the petitioner’s W.P.(C) 9445/2025 representation positively within a period of four weeks and communicate to the petitioner as soon as it is taken.

5. We had not expressed any opinion on any merit of the claim of the petitioner. The petition is disposed of.
