1. Petitioners herein have filed a petition under Section 6, 7, 12 and 17 read with Setion 25 of Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 seeking custody of their minor grand-daughter.

2. Such grand-daughter is eight years old, her date of birth being 11.01.2017.

3. It is informed that she is a special child since birth and is under constant treatment and, therefore, the request in the present petition is, merely, to the effect that the learned Judge, Family Court, may be requested to expeditiously dispose of the abovesaid petition, particularly, keeping in mind such special condition of the child.

4. Learned counsel for respondent/father appears on advance notice and when asked, submitted that he would also render his best cooperation and assistance to the learned Judge, Family Court, so that, the learned Court is in a CM(M) 1361/2025 2 position to achieve expeditious disposal of the abovesaid Guardianship Petition.

5. The petition has been filed last year only.

6. Be that as it may, keeping in mind the fact that the child is a special child, the petition stands disposed of with request to learned Judge, Family Court, to give utmost priority to the abovesaid petition and to decide the same, as expeditiously as possible.

7. Petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.

8. Pending application stands disposed of.
