09.10.2017 The petitioners have filed the present petitions, inter alia, impugning the action ofrespondents in withholding the renewal of their registrations.
This, it is contended, amounts to blacklisting. It is also pointed out that no show cause notice for withholding ofany registration has been issued.
The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the renewal ofregistration shall not be withheld for a period of more than four weeks from today. In the meanwhile, if the respondents seek to deny renewal ofregistration,respondents shall issue a show cause notice and give full opportunity to the petitioners to represent their case and pass a final order within the period offour weeks.
2017:DHC:8853 In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except to direct that in the event the show cause notice is not issued within a period oftwo weeksfrom today,the respondents will ensure that the registration in favour of the petitioners is renewed immediately thereafter;
Order dasti.
