These are the two petitions under Article 226 of Constitution ofIndia filed by the petitioners,who claim to be regular street vendors and have been vending in frontofDargah School,NearPrimaiy Health Centre,Police Station
Mehrauli,Delhisincethe year2007.The grievanceofthe petitioners isthatthe officials ofrespondents are harassing them and they are not allowing them to earn theirlivelihood with dignity.
2017:DHC:8694-DB $ n On the last date ofhearing, time was sought by the counsel for the respondentstoseek instructions in the matters.Today learned counselsforthe respective respondents submit that the grievance ofthe petitioners is baseless and vague.The petitioners are not being harassed and their possession is not being disturbed. However, during phool walon ki sair and because of VIP movements,thepetitioners weretemporarilyremoved.Counselfurthersubmits thatincasethepetitionersfollowthenormsoftheCorporationandnotobstruct the freeflow oftraffic as well asfree movementofpedestrian,tilltheTVCis
^ constitutedasaninterim measure,theywillnotberemoved.
In view ofthestandtaken bythecounselfortherespondents,thepresent writpetitions,asprayed,standdisposedofbindingthepartiesupontheaforesaid terms on respondents.
^ Accordingly,the writpetitionsstand disposed.
