1. Mr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, is agreeable to the disposal of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent to take a decision on the petitioner’s appeal dated 23 February 2025 against the rejection of his claim for disability pension.

2. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the aforesaid appeal of the petitioner within four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The decision as and when taken would be communicated forthwith to the petitioner. W.P.(C) 11653/2025

3. Needless to say, the rights of the petitioner to challenge the decision, if it is adverse to him, would remain reserved.

4. The petition is disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
