1. This writ petition relates to the issue relating to the cases involving ATM frauds. Amongst the issues flagged, a grievance is made regarding investigation into 18 different instances of fraud at the same ATM.

2. It is submitted by the petitioner that similar instances of fraud 2017:DHC:7684-DB WP(C)No.10908/2017 at the same ATM deserves to be investigated by the same Investigating Officer or by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police.

3. Several other aspects of investigation of such fraud have been pointed out by the petitioner.

4. We are of the view that the issue raised by the petitioner deserves to be examined by the respondents and a view thereon needs to be taken and, if necessary, appropriate guidelines be issued for the purpose of investigation of such cases.

5. This writ petition and application are disposed of with a direction to the respondents to examine the issues flagged by the petitioner as also to consider formulation of appropriate guideline for investigation of such fraud. Dasti.
