JUDGMENT

1. In this petition quashing of inquiry proceedings initiated way back on 23rd November, 2011 is sought. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the recording of evidence in the inquiry has not yet commenced and petitioner’s representation of 16th March, 2016 to respondent No.2-Committee has not been decided till date. Learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that if it is so, then petitioner’s representation would be positively decided within a period of 12 weeks.

2. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition while calling upon second respondent to decide 2017:DHC:7964 W.P.(C) No.566/2012 petitioner’s representation of 16th March, 2016 within a period of 12 weeks if not already done and the fate of the representation be conveyed to petitioner within 2 weeks thereafter so that petitioner may avail of the remedy as available in law, if need be.

3. It is made clear that status quo as of today regarding petitioner’s service be maintained till the fate of representation of 16th March, 2016 is made known to petitioner.

4. With aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
