JUDGMENT

1. In the above-captioned two petitions, petitioners seek upgraded pay scale in terms of First and Second Assured Carrier Progression (hereinafter referred to as ACP), which has been recommended by third respondent to second respondent vide Communication of 14th November, 2017 (Annexure P-14) in W.P.(C) 11677/2017.

2. Instead of making a representation to second respondent, petitioners have sent a Legal Notice of 27th October, 2017 to all the respondents. 2017:DHC:7995 W.Ps.(C) 11661 & 11677 of 2017

3. Upon hearing, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of these two petitions with direction to petitioners to send representations to second respondent on the strength of recommendation of 14th November, 2017 to third respondent. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that such a representation would be made to second respondent within two weeks.

4. Upon receiving of such representations, second respondent shall pass appropriate orders thereon within six weeks and its fate be conveyed to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of remedies as available in law, if need be.

5. With aforesaid directions, the above-captioned two petitions are disposed of.

6. Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties.
