JUDGMENT
1. Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 207/2021 of Police Station Samaypur Badli for offence under Sections 323/354B/509/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.
2. Respondent no. 2 present in Court and identified by IO/SI Priyanka accepts notice. Learned APP accepts notice.
3. I have spoken with both sides. It appears that cross FIRs were GIRISH KATHPALIA CRL. M.C. 1734/2025 pages registered on account of an incident that took place involving two sides. The cross FIR bearing No. 202/2021 of same police station, for same offences as in the present case, has already been quashed today itself by a coordinate bench of this Court, as informed by all present. The respondent no. 2 submits that being relatives, parties have settled all disputes. Respondent NO. 2 submits that she does not wish to pursue the prosecution of petitioners.
4. Learned APP submits that while quashing the cross FIR, the coordinate bench imposed cost of Rs. 5,000/- on each of the petitioners of that case, to be deposited with DHCLSC.
5. Considering the above circumstances, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through trial. Therefore, the petition is allowed and subject to each of the petitioners depositing cost of Rs. 5,000/- with DHCLSC within one week, FIR No. 207/2021 of Police Station Samaypur Badli for offence under Sections 323/354B/509/34 IPC and proceedings arising out the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
