1. Petitioner claims to be working as Director (Commercial) under the Ministry of National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.

(MMDC) and vide application of 25th December, 2017 (Annexure P-15), he had applied for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Coal India Limited. The apprehension expressed in this petition is that due to some controversy regarding the date of birth, his application is not being forwarded to the concerned Ministry i.e. Ministry of Coal.

2. Learned counsel for respondents appearing on advance notice submits that the apprehension of petitioner is misplaced, as petitioner’s application, if received, would be forwarded to the concerned Ministry with comments, if any. 2018:DHC:80 W.P.(C) 51/2018

3. In view of aforesaid this petition is disposed of with direction to the concerned Ministry to forward petitioner’s application (Annexure P- 15), if received, latest by tomorrow noon, if not already done.

4. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
