JUDGMENT
1. Allowed, subject to alljust exceptions. W.P.(C) 270/2018 & CM No.l102/2018 W.P.(C^ 275/2018& CM No.l 141/2018 W.P.(C^ 308/2018& CM No.1288/2018 W.P.(C^ 300/2018& CM No.1290/2018
2. The learned counsel for the parties state that the controversy involved in the present petition is covered by the decision of order dated 01.12.2017 passed by this Court in Ankesh Rana and Am. v. Delhi Medial Council: W.P.(C) 10703/2017,the petition was disposed ofby pennitting the petitioners to make an application for provisional registration and to complete their internship, thereafter. It was further directed that the petitioners' application for provisional registration shall be considered in accordance with law.
3. Mr Khattar, the learned counsel appearing for the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) states that there appears to be a racket, where several doctors who have completed their medical education overseas, have resorted to obtaining forged and fabricated certificates of their internship to obtain registration to practice as medical practitioners. He also points out that a complaint in this regard has been filed by the DMC before the police authorities and inquiry inthis regard ispending.
4. The contentions advanced by Mr Khattar, learned counsel for the DMC, are merited. There seems to be serious malady where several practitioners have resorted to furnishing certificates which are either not authorized, or are fabricated. Whilst, it may not be apposite to completely deny the said candidates the benefit of their education (that is completing their medical course), this Court is ofthe view that the police authorities must take a serious view ofthe same and ensure that in case any forged or fabricated document has been furnished by a candidate, the person guilty of the offence isprosecuted to the full extent ofthe law.
5. In view of the earlier decisions passed by this Court in Ankesh Rana and Anr. v. Delhi Medical Council {supra), the present petition is disposed of by directing the petitioners to make a fresh application for provisional registration inaccordance with law.
6. Order dasti.
