JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. Petitioner seeks following reliefs: “ a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction thereby directing Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to provide immediate and effective protection to the petitioner against any threats, assaults, or harassment by Respondent No. 4; b) Direct the SHO, PS Mehrauli, to register the petitioner’s complaint and take preventive and punitive action as per law; c) Pass any other or further orders as may be deemed just and necessary in the interest of justice. ”

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that construction of house being carried out by petitioner was restrained by an order of this court, after which respondent no. 4 has been harassing and threatening him. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that what the petitioner prays for is directions to the local SHO to grant him protection. W.P.(CRL)2498/2025 pages

3. Learned ASC accompanied with SI Sanjay submits that petitioner and respondent no.4 are neighbours and are engaged in petty cross complaints.

4. The petitioner has also sought directions to the SHO Mehrauli to register his complaint, but that prayer is not pressed by learned counsel for petitioner stating that he shall institute appropriate legal proceedings.

5. Considering the above circumstances, the petition is disposed of directing the SHO PS Mehrauli to communicate his mobile phone number and mobile phone number of the beat constable to the petitioner and respond as and when petitioner calls up in urgency. Pending application stands disposed of.
