1. Itis notdisputed by Mr.Rajesh Gogna,CGSCthattheissue d raised in the present petition is covered by thejudgment ofthe ^ Division Bench ofthiscourt dated 12.1.2018,passed in bunch of petitions,theleadpetitionbeing:mC)NoU/20I6titled Unionof India& Am.vs.SatnamSingh

2. The issue involved in this case, is that, whether the petitioner,whohadsoughtpoliticalasyluminthepast,wasentitled 2018:DHC:9193 to issuance ofpassport by the GovernmentofIndia.

3. In view of the decision of this court in the aforementioned matter,this writ petition would have to be allowed.

4. It is ordered accordingly.

I may note that Mr. Rajesh Gogna, CGSC has indicated me that respondents are in the process ofexamining thejudgment and taking a decision as to whether or not special leave petition is to be filed qua the aforementionedjudgment. if 6. Needless to say,ifa special leave petition is filed,the order f passed in the said petition will govern the fate ofthis case as well, unless it is distinguishable on facts.
