1. Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.397/2017 under Sections 307/34 IPC.

2. The allegations are that the co-accused inflicted a knife injury on the victim at the instigation of the petitioner, the mother of the co-accused. 2018:DHC:1166 BAIL APPLN. 72/2018

3. The petitioner was granted interim protection on 11.01.2018, subject to joining investigation. Status report dated 13.02.2018 indicates that the petitioner did join investigation and appeared before the Investigating Officer on 12.01.2018 and 08.02.2018.

4. The co-accused has already been admitted to bail by order dated 07.12.2017.

5. In view of the above, in the event of the arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail by the Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer/SHO concerned.

6. The petitioner shall not do anything, which shall prejudice either the investigation or the prosecution witnesses.

7. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
