ORDER

1. Parties seek quashing of cross-FIRs based on a Settlement.

2. In Crl.M.C.833/2018, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.32/2016 under Sections 341/354/34 IPG, Police Station Khajuri Khas and in Grl.M.G.845/2018, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.l 16/2016 under Sections 451/323/427/34 IPG, Police Station Khajuri Khas..3. The parties are stated to be neighbours. It is contended that with the intervention of respectable and eminent members of the Society the differences between the parties have been resolved. The parties had been litigating against each other for several years, however, now, all their differences have been amicably resolved. The Settlement Deed dated 11.01.2018 has been executed and parties have jointly given an application to the Police Station Khajuri Khas on 13.01.2018, putting on record their settlement.

4. Parties are present in Gourt in person. They submit that they have resolved their disputes and now, no disputes are remaining CRL.M.C.833/2018 &845/2018 Page 2 between them. They have also agreed to withdraw all other litigations pending between the parties.

5. In view of the above and keeping in view of the fact that the parties are neighbours and have resolved their disputes with the intervention of respectable and eminent members of the Society and the Settlement Deed dated 11.01.2018 has been executed between the parties and parties have also agreed to withdraw all other litigations pending between the parties and they do not wish to press their complaints against each other, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends ofjustice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would^ be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

6. Accordingly, FIR No.32/2016 under Sections 341/354/34 IPG, Police Station Khajuri Khas and FIR No.116/2016 under Sections 451/323/427/34 IPG, Police Station Khajuri Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

7. Order Dasti under signatures of the Gourt Master.
