JUDGMENT

1. Petitioner is at serial No.101 in wait list for being appointed as Assistant Grade-III (Depot). According to petitioner’s counsel, the wait list (Annexure-C) was made public in the month of November, 2017 and despite there being vacancy in the general category, petitioner has not been appointed although she had secured 100 marks out of 120 marks. Petitioner’s counsel submits that RTI information was sought from respondent as to how many general category candidates have been appointed on the post of Assistant Grade-III (Depot) from the wait list and as per the reply of 15th November, 2017 (Annexure-D) and 28th November, 2017 (Annexure-E), petitioner has been informed that the information sought is not available with the respondent and his application has been forwarded to the recruitment agency.

2. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to 2018:DHC:1354 W.P.(C) No.1715/2018 dispose of this petition with permission to petitioner to make a Representation in respect of the relief sought in this petition within a period of one week and if such a representation is received by respondent-FCI, then it be appropriately dealt with within a period of six weeks and its fate be made known to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedy as available in law, if need be.

3. With aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of. Dasti.
