22.02.2018 , , . ' By these petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure, 1973, itisprayed that, foliowing cross FIRs may bequashed :-
. (a) FIR, No. 306/2016 under Sections 308/323 IPC registered at
2018:DHC:8397
♦ police station Okhla Industrial Area wherein Yogender Singh, Lekh Raj and Manoj Kumar are complainants; whereas
. ^ Ramavtar, Sanjay,Nathu and Gopli @ Sunil are accused; , (b) FIR No. 333/2016 under Sections 354/325/323/34 IPG registered at police station Okhla Industrial Area wherein
Munni Devi, Ramavtar and Nathu Lai'are complainants; whereas Lekh Raj, Manoj Kumar and Yogender Singh are accused. •
It is submitted that a quarrel took place between Ramavtar, Munni
Devi, Nathu Laiand GopH @ Sunil ontheonehand and Lekh Raj, Manoj
Kumar and Yogender Singh on the Other which led to registration of aforesaid cross FIRs. Injuries received by the injured Yogender and Lekh
Raj are simple and that of Manoj Kumar are grievous. However, complainants/injured, in both the FIRs, have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding ,dated 7^^ February, 2018 and are not willing to pursue their criminal cases against each, otlier.
Petitioners/respondent hos.2 to 4, in both the petitions, are present in Court' and have been identified by SI Mood Chand of police station Okhla
Industrial Area. They submit that they have settled their disputes of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They have no objection in case aforesaid FIRs are quashed. Their affidavits to this effect are also on record. p *
Keeping in, view that a quarrel took place between the complainant/injured on some trivial issue wherein, injures were suffered by both the parries and now that they have settledtheir, disputes amicably, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, both the aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefroni are quashed.
Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications a.re disposed of as infructuous. ^
