HONt BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
14.03.2018 It is submitted that accused/complainants, namely, Rahul Sharma, 2018:DHC:8408
Rohit Sharma, Kapil Nagar, Anil Nagar, Ranbir Nagar @ Bittu @ Ranbir
Singh and Omkar Nagar @ Omkar Singh are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of cross
FIRs, details whereof are as under FIR No. 208/2009 under Sections 324/323/34 IPC
'4 registered at police station Uttam Nagar, registered on the
1 complaint of Kapil Nagar;
FIR No. 207/2009 under Sections 452/427/323/34 IPC registered at police station Uttam Nagar, registered on the compliant of Rahul Sharma, It is submitted that aforesaid parties have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 27th January, 2014, therefore, aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Complainants/accused persons are present in Court and they have been identified by SI Devender Kumar of police station Uttam Nagar. They submit that they have settled their disputes with each other of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They have no objection in case aforesaid FIRs are quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the accused persons and complainants voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms.
