JUDGMENT

1. Mr. Sureshan, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer (i) in this petition stands granted and, insofar as the remaining prayers are concerned, the respondents may be directed to take a decision on the petitioner’s transfer keeping in view the new policy which has come into being in 2024.

2. Mr. Ranvir Singh, learned SPC appearing for the respondents, on instructions, agrees to do so.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents to take a decision on the petitioner’s case in the light of W.P.(C) 9850/2023 the new transfer policy which has come into being in 2024.

4. Decision, as and when taken, shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

5. The petition is disposed of.
