By these petitions, it is prayed that following cross FIRs may be quashed:- a) FIR No. 235/2017 under Sections 323/341/354 IPC registered at police stationDelhi Cantt on the complaint ofSavita (respondentno.2 in

4 Crl. M.C. 1606/2018 and petitioner no.l in Crl. M.C. 1622/2018. b) FIRNo. 23,6/2017 under Sections 323/354(B)/34 IPC registered at police station Delhi Cantt on the complaint of Ashish (respondent no.2 in Crl. M.C.1622/2018 and petitioner no.l in Crl. M.C. 1606/2018) Aperusal ofaforesaid FIRs shows that aquarrel took place between the 2018:DHC:8417 \ petitioners and private respondents on some trivial issue whicli led to registration of aforesaid FIRs. It is submitted that petitioners and private respondents andhavenow settledtheir disputes amicably videMemorandum of Understanding dated lO'" November, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIRs may be quashed. Complainants/injured persons, in both the petitions, namely, Ashish, Bindu, Jitender Singh, Aakash, Surender Sheoran, Sanjeet Sheoran, Shivamjeet Sheoran, Savita and Sadasukh are present in Court and have been identified by W/SI Anita Kumari of police station Delhi Cantt. These complainants/injured persons submit that they have settled the matter of their own firee will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection mcase their respective FIRs are quashed. Keeping inviewthe fact that incident is aresult ofaquarrel between the neighbours and now that they have settled their disputes amicably, Iam ofthe view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest ofjustice, aforesaid FIRs, which are at the investigation stage, are quashed. Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms.
