06.04.2018 By these petitions, it has been prayed that following cross-FIRs may be quashed:- a) , FIR No. 72/2015 under Sections 354(A)(l)/506/34 IPC registered at police station Ranjit Nagar on the complaint of
Smt. Shashi Bala w/o Sh. Anil Kumar (respondent'no.2 in Crl.
06.04.2018 By these petitions, it has been prayed that following cross-FIRs may be quashed:- a) , FIR No. 72/2015 under Sections 354(A)(l)/506/34 IPC registered at police station Ranjit Nagar on the complaint of
Smt. Shashi Bala w/o Sh. Anil Kumar (respondent'no.2 in Crl.
M.C. 1690/2018 and her husband Sh. Anil Kumar is petitioner
2018:DHC:8428 no.2inCrI/M.C. 1674/2018).
FIR No. 73/2015 under Sections 354(A)(l)/34 IPC registered at police station Ranjit Nagar on the complaint of Ms. Komal D/o
Sh. Laxman Dass (respondent no.2 in Crl. M.C. 1674/2018 and her father Sh. Laxman Dass is petitioner no. 2 in Crl. M.C.
1690/2018). b)
It is submitted that petitioners and private respondents are neighbours.
A quarrel took place between them on. some trivial issue which led to registration of aforesaid FIRs. With the intervention lOf their common friends and other family members, petitioners and complainants have settled their disputes vide two separate Deed of Compromise dated 20*^^ January, 2018 and 19^*^ February, 2018, therefore, aforesaid FIRs may be quashed.
Smt. Shashi Bala and Ms. Komal are present in Court and have been identified by SI Nishant Dahiya of police station Ranjit Nagar. They submit that they have settled their disputes of their own -free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, they have no objection in quashing of the aforesaid. FIRs. Affidavits ofthese complainants are also on record to this effect.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the. accused
(petitioners) and complainants (private respondents) voluntarily, in my view,' no Iruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as inffuctuous.
