1. Petitioners seek a mandamus to first respondent to pay salary / allowances as per Rule 101 (2) of Delhi School Education Act & Rules, 1973 and as per recommendations of Seventh Central Pay Commission. It is submitted that for the relief sought in this petition, representation was made by petitioners to first respondent on 7th February, 2018 but to no avail.

2. Despite service of advance notice, there is no representation on behalf of respondents.

3. In the facts and circumstances of this case, this petition is disposed of with direction to first respondent to consider and decide petitioners’ Representation of 7th February, 2018 (Annexure P-5) within a period of 2018:DHC:2293 W.P.(C) 3441/2018 six weeks by passing a speaking order. The fate of the Representation be made known to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies, as available in law, if need be.

4. First respondent be apprised of this order forthwith to ensure its compliance.

5. With aforesaid directions, this petition and application are disposed of. Dasti.
