1. This writ petition seeks quashing of the letter dated 29th June, 2015 issued by the respondent no.3 – Government of NCT of Delhi, nominating the respondent no.2 as a part of the Council of Architecture and consequently, setting aside the nomination of the respondent no.2 to the Council. 2018:DHC:2332-DB W.P.(C)No.7170/2017

2. The primary ground of challenge rested on the plea that the nomination of the respondent no.2 has not been made with the concurrence of the Lt. Governor of Delhi.

3. After issuance of notice to show cause, in response thereto, the respondents have filed their replies. The respondent no.3 has filed a reply placing on record a letter dated 21st November, 2017 issued by the concerned minister to the Council of Architecture informing that the matter of the said nomination was placed before the Lt. Governor of Delhi for concurrence ex-post-facto of the said nomination and that the Lt. Governor of Delhi has accorded the same.

4. This being the factual position, therefore, the challenge raised by the petitioner does not survive for adjudication.

5. This writ petition as well as application are accordingly disposed of.
