JUDGMENT

1. Petitioners were appointed as Wardens in the year 2012, 2013 and 2015 for a period of two years and their appointment was renewed from time to time. Vide impugned Office Orders of 19th December 2016; 16th March, 2017; 5th April, 2017; 24th August, 2017 and 19th September, 2017, petitioners were informed that their term of Wardenship had ended and so, warden’s honorarium has been discontinued. Against impugned orders, petitioners had made Representations (Annexure P-8 and 9 colly.).

2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that there is no response to the said Representations.

3. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition and applications with permission to petitioners to make a concise and composite Representation afresh to respondent- 2018:DHC:2541 W.P.(C) 3825/2018 University within a period of three weeks from today and if such a Representation is received, then respondent-University shall ensure that the Competent Authority effectively considers it by passing a speaking order thereon within a period of six weeks and in case the said Representation is not to be accepted, then the reasons for not doing so, be spelt out and the fate of the Representation be conveyed to petitioners within two weeks thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.

4. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of. Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties.
