ORDER
1. The petitioners, in CRL.M.C. 5053/2017 seek quashing of FIR NO. 170 of 1993 under Sections 420/406/409 of the IPC Police Station Patel Nagar, New Delhi and Petitioner in W.P. (Crl.) 464/2018 seeks quashing of FIR No. 16 of 1999 under Sections 420/406/465/467/471/120-B of the CRL.M.C. 5053/2017 & W.P. (Crl.) 464/2018 Page 1 2018:DHC:8709 IPG Police Station Patel Nagar, New Delhi, based on a settlement.
2. The subject FIRs are cross FIRs registered between the partners ofa partnership firm.
3. Both the parties are present in person in Court today, represented by their counsels and are identified by the Investigating Officer. They submit that they have settled their all disputes with the intervention of locals and respectable people of the locality. Memorandum of Understanding dated H 20.07.2016 has been executed. They further submit that they do not wish to press thecriminal complaints against each other any further.

In view of the fact that the disputes between the parties has been settled, continuation ofcriminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends ofjustice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would also be expedient to quash the subject FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.
5. In view of the above, the petitions are allowed. FIR No. 170 of 1993 under Sections 420/406/409 ofthe IPG Police Station Patel Nagar, New Delhi and FIR No. 16 of 1999 under Sections 420/406/465/467/471/120-B ofthe IPG Police Station Patel Nagar, New Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are, accordingly quashed.
