JUDGMENT

1. By way of this petition, petitioners, who are contractual employees working in Delhi State Health Mission, seek implementation of order of 1st November, 2017.

2. Learned counsel for respondents No.1 & 2 submits that the process to comply with the order of 1st November, 2017 is in progress and it would be expeditiously completed.

3. In view of the stand taken as aforesaid, it is deemed appropriate to direct second respondent to ensure that compliance of order of 1st 2018:DHC:2733 W.P.(C) 4168/2018 November, 2017 is made within a period of twelve weeks or so from today.

4. So far as petitioners’ prayer to formulate a policy to absorb petitioners as regular employees or not to disengage petitioners’ service is concerned, it is deemed appropriate to permit petitioners to make a concise Representation in this regard to second respondent within a period of two weeks from today. Upon receipt of such a concise Representation, second respondent shall pass a speaking order thereon, preferably within a period of twelve weeks or so, and convey its fate to petitioners within two weeks thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.

5. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are disposed of. Copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for petitioners and second respondent.
